Worshipful Company of Engineers

Delighted with the service provided by Nifty, the move team were super efficient, prompt and professional at all times.  We would not hesitate to recommend

Nifty relocated the Worshipful Company of Engineers from their Barbican address to their new home on Gutter Lane.

The Project

Nifty Business Movers were helping the small team of Worshipful Company of Engineers to move to their new address at Saddlers Hall.

Sandra from the Worshipful Company of Engineers previously met with Scott from Nifty Business Movers to inform him of all the items going to the new location. Moreover, they discussed Nifty’s Removal Process and Furniture Clearance offer. At the same time, Nifty supplied specialist removal crates, free of charge, to the Worshipful Company of Engineers. Supplying the crates well in advance allowed for the small team to tackle their packing periodically.

Moving Day

On Thursday 9th May, Nifty Business Movers arrive at Ironmongers Hall in Barbican and meet with Sandra. Sandra explained that they had run out of crates and the kitchen still required packing. Without delay, the Nifty team were able to provide additional crates and begin assisting with packing the glasses, china and other remaining items. It was then necessary to safely pack all the IT equipment. Once all the IT equipment was secure, Nifty’s fitters could then dismantle the desks.

Soon thereafter the team were ready to move all the necessary items to the new address. With an elevator, and excellent access through the loading bay, loading the van took place in no time at all. The following items were for disposal: large cabinet, table and five chairs. The arrangement was to leave the items for disposal in the current address ready for pick up on the return journey. However, Scott suggested that Nifty drop these items off at the recycling centre.

It was a short journey to Saddlers Hall and the crate delivery was prompt. Upon arrival, the fitters could start immediately building the desks. Once the desks were built, it was necessary to unpack and recommission all the IT equipment ready for use.

Upon completion, the team said farewell to Sandra, who was greatly appreciative of the free on-the-day packing and recycling service.
